Hi, my name is Jan and I live in Middlesbrough in the North East. For nearly 30 years I have provided administrative support or managed business support services in banking, commercial businesses, councils and charities. I have a broad range of knowledge and a wealth of administrative and managerial experience from working as an Executive PA, IT Trainer and Business Support Manager.
My combined Science degree was gained after 6 years part-time study with the Open University, sometimes setting up my Bunsen burner and lab equipment in the kitchen to complete an assignment. So you can see just how committed and motivated I am! I also have a Diploma in IT and as an IT Trainer designed and delivered MS Office training. I love IT and thoroughly enjoy learning new programs. IT is evolving so quickly these days but I pride myself on being extremely tech savvy and adept at using many different applications.
As a Manager I have developed teams, lead on Projects, worked collaboratively across organisations, delivered business process improvements, introduced quality management systems and developed sales websites. As an Executive PA I have managed complex diaries, travel arrangements and all aspects of business administration.
Delivering exceptional customer service is important to me and I take great pride in doing my job very well. I am meticulously organised, proficient, methodical, resourceful, versatile and have an excellent eye for detail.
